Description Applications are determined by structures. In this course, students are taught to be informed about structures in nanoscales.
Overview
Structures have a great deal of influence on materials’ properties, and properties leads to find out materials’ application.

On top of that, in nanoscale, materials are manipulated to reach a specific structure for new applications. In one sense nanostructures are classified as zero, one, two and three dimensional structures. In addition, carbon nanostructures, porous materials, organic nanostructures and natural nanostructures are known classifications.

Booklet
Description
It gives an introduction to renewable materials and plant structure with regards to cellulose. Then it talks about nanocellulose extraction methods and its applications.

Mental Challenge
Is nanocellulose related to plants?

Quizzes and Activities

Activity: Prepare an assay with images showing the structure of nanocellulose.
