Description In this series, everything that a nanotechnologist needs is presented. Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials are elaborated to clarify which method we need for synthesizing a desired nanostructure. Advanced nanomaterials such as nanobiotechnology, nanoelectronics, nano systems and nanomaterials are another course material of this series.
Overview High-tech subjects such as nanomaterial synthesis methods, characterization and revolutionary areas with nanoscience are covered in this section. In synthesis course, top-down and bottom-up methods are explained; and in characterization course, analytical microscopic and non-microscopic methods are described. In addition, the subjects (spheres) which are revolutionized by nanotechnology such as nanocatalysis, nanobiotechnology, nanoelectronics and nanoenvironment are described. “Nano systems” which is a new terminology in nanotechnology, is another covered course. It is highly recommended to have a general knowledge on nanotechnology to take this section. By the end of this section, students will be able to attend in a nanolab to synthesize and characterize nanomaterials. It must be noted that, being familiar with safety rules in lab is inevitable.
