Description Applications are determined by structures. In this course, students are taught to be informed about structures in nanoscales.
Overview
Structures have a great deal of influence on materials’ properties, and properties leads to find out materials’ application.

On top of that, in nanoscale, materials are manipulated to reach a specific structure for new applications. In one sense nanostructures are classified as zero, one, two and three dimensional structures. In addition, carbon nanostructures, porous materials, organic nanostructures and natural nanostructures are known classifications.

Booklet
Description
It starts with introducing molecularly imprinted polymers as nanomaterials. Then it compares them with antibodies and talks about their properties and synthesis methods.

Mental Challenge
Are polymeric systems the same as antibodies?

Quizzes and Activities

Activity: Find out what is unique about molecularly imprinted polymers and explain why.
