Description Applications are determined by structures. In this course, students are taught to be informed about structures in nanoscales.
Overview
Structures have a great deal of influence on materials’ properties, and properties leads to find out materials’ application.

 On top of that, in nanoscale, materials are manipulated to reach a specific structure for new applications. In one sense nanostructures are classified as zero, one, two and three dimensional structures. In addition, carbon nanostructures, porous materials, organic nanostructures and natural nanostructures are known classifications.

Description
It firstly talks about the types of composites based on their reinforcement, gives an introduction to particle reinforcements, defines some terms. Then it talks about fiber-reinforced composites, goes through fiber-reinforced composites and the effect of fiber characteristics. Afterwards it talks about structural and laminar composites, their applications and types and finishes with more explanation.
