Description Applications are determined by structures. In this course, students are taught to be informed about structures in nanoscales.
Overview
Structures have a great deal of influence on materials’ properties, and properties leads to find out materials’ application.

On top of that, in nanoscale, materials are manipulated to reach a specific structure for new applications. In one sense nanostructures are classified as zero, one, two and three dimensional structures. In addition, carbon nanostructures, porous materials, organic nanostructures and natural nanostructures are known classifications.

Booklet
Description
It gives an introduction on biomimetic robots and talks about Spiderman clothes and how it was inspired by gecko’s legs.

Mental Challenge
How can a gecko leg be inspiring?

Quizzes and Activities

Activity: Prepare a case study on a biomimetic robot and explain what its source of inspiration was in nature.
