Reducing Pollution with Nanotechnology

Category General
Difficulty Level Normal
Audience Level General
Description Nanoscience has a wide range of effects on other industries. In this course, a huge amount of information in regards with the role of nanoscience in industries is presented.
Overview
Rapid development of nanotechnology is often considered as a fundamental revolution in technology and is compared with the discovery of antibiotics, television, nuclear weapons, and computer technologies. Nanotechnology is a key technology and refers to a wide range of scientific and technological activities that study and work with phenomena or properties at nanometer scale (around 0.1-100nm; one nanometer is one millionth of a meter). Introducing current and potential applications is as significant as education. In this course, nanotechnology applications in textile, agriculture, oil and gas, automotive, environment, sports and nutrition industry are reported.
