In this session we talk about 2 types of measurement scales: ordinal scale and ratio scale. These measurement scales are simply applied to sub-categorize different types of materials. Ordinal scales, the order of the values are what are important and significant.Ordinal scales typically use to measure non-numeric concepts like satisfaction, happiness, discomfort, etc.Ratio scale tells us the exact value between units. Examples of ratio variables include height, weight, and duration. |
