Nano is still a strange word for society. It is essential to know what exactly nano term is. This course helps us to recognize the meaning of nanotechnology. In order to make nano term more tangible, definition of technology, science and etc. is incorporated in this course.  By the end of this course, nano is not an unknown word anymore.

 Have you ever thought about how this world might be changed in future? How will technologies change? In this lesson we are going to present somehow an imaginary world and discuss how we can achieve it. Our imaginations in regard to future are going to become true by means of nanotechnology. To put in a nutshell, nanotechnology has made a widespread change in the world by manipulating structures in atomic scale, and it is going for a long time.

 Activity: Make your own imaginary world. Take a paper and write down anything you might think of, and keep it somewhere safe. Then surf on the internet and study some scientific book to comprise your ideas with the real industries. Then, write down how nanotechnology could help and develop these industries based on your idea.
