Description |
It classifies magnetic materials based on their source and magnetic behavior. So, five classes are obtained: diamagnetic, paramagnetic, ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic, and ferromagnetic. Then it explains each of these classes. In this way it introduces and explains some concepts that are needed to get familiarized with different magnetic properties of materials. |
Mental Challenge |
What is the source of different magnetic materials? |
Quizzes and Activities |
Activity: find schematics of electrons and spins arrangement under magnetic fields for different classes of materials (based on magnetic properties). |
